Wolfram Alpha - A New Way to Search

Wolfram Alpha is not a search engine. It is a computational knowledge engine! It answers questions and computations using Wolfram Alpha's internal knowledge base. This knowledge base is based on many different sources, combined and curated by the Wolfram Alpha team.

It is great for finding "just the facts" and it is meant for use in kindergarten to graduate school and beyond. For example, try typing in "Jupiter" or "Atlantic Ocean". It gives you scientifically accurate, up-to-the-minute information without surfing, opinions or ads.

Watch this explanation on how it works and see examples by topic.

Go ahead. Give it a try....

But Facebook can also be a great way for kids to stay in touch with their friends and showcase their interests (and have fun)."
